What is eFTI?
eFTI – electronic Freight Transport Information – is the European framework for exchanging regulatory freight transport information digitally between economic operators and competent authorities.
The eFTI Regulation supports the transition from paper-based freight documentation to structured and interoperable electronic data across road, rail, inland waterway and air transport.
From 9 July 2027, authorities in EU Member States will be required to accept regulatory freight information electronically when it is made available through certified eFTI platforms.
For logistics companies, eFTI creates a common European framework for digital freight information and provides a foundation for more automated and interoperable logistics processes.

Vedia eFTI Platform
Vedia develops its own eFTI Platform for private-sector operators such as carriers, logistics service providers, logistics hubs and companies developing digital logistics services.
The platform connects company freight information with the eFTI ecosystem and supports electronic information exchange between existing business systems and authorities.
Vedia can support the integration of eFTI functionality into existing transport management, logistics and other business systems, allowing companies to develop their digital freight processes without replacing their entire existing IT environment.
Freight information is exchanged between economic operators, certified eFTI Platforms, national eFTI Gates and competent authorities.
